I am…Rested

“Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 NLT

In Christ, we have found this rest. Many of us came to Jesus with great burdens, and tired hearts. I know I did. I had spent years heaping worry after worry on my back. I had spent a decade at least trying to change things, and not only finding no success but only finding the struggle to get increasingly hard.

Then came Jesus.

Finding the Lord, was indeed finding the gift of rest.

Any of us, who are found in Christ Jesus, have a new being; our souls are rested in Him. We are not without trouble, but have rest in our helper, comforter, Lord and savior.

Let us praise Him today that we are RESTED!
