I am…blessed.
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.” (Ephesians 1:3 NIV)
Just last night my wife and I were counting our blessings and I grew once again in awe of God and the way he has been crafting such a life for me. Truth is, these are not blessings that I am promised in Christ. Don’t get me wrong I celebrate how God has personally allowed my family to prosper, but these are temporary earthly blessings.
God’s promise to us in Christ is a collection of SPIRITUAL blessings. These are eternal. These are blessings like the supernatural peace my family has been given as we wait at the bedside of my little brother who has been near a comatose state for over a month.
We have blessings that moths cannot destroy and that the tragedies of the world cannot take away.
Today embrace and enjoy the spiritual blessings that you have ONLY because your life is found in Jesus. No matter what the state of your affairs here on earth, YOU TRULY ARE BLESSED!

Amen! Its amazing how most times we tend to focus on the physical… And we forget that the things that can be seen are only temporal and those that are unseen are eternal…
I pray that each day I will recognize all the spiritual blessings He has so freely given to me. Thank you for sharing.
