I am…Unique

“12 Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. 14 Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many. 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? 18 But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be.”1 Corinthians 12, 14, 17, 18 NIV

We are exactly who God created us to be. All of our personality traits are just as God himself designed them to be.

Our innate talents and natural abilities are very specific to us and intentional.

” My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.” Psalm 139:15 NRSV

He carefully designed each and every one of us for a specific purpose.

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works,which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10 ESV

He knew exactly what he had in mind for us when he made each of us. We do not all have a cookie cutter life plan set aside. We have a very unique path.

“But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob,
And He who formed you, O Israel:
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name;
You are Mine.” Isaiah 43:1 NKJV

We have all been created differently and when we were called, “by name,” were were gifted uniquely.

Today, let us embrace who God made us to be. Let us get closer to His heart today and hear his reminder of our special calling and hear the voice of God himself say to each one of us.
