“But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,” John 1:12 ESV

It doesn’t matter how far from God you were. It doesn’t matter how messed up your family, your parents, your relationships have been in the past.

If you are in Christ, you have now become God’s child.
