I am…an Ambassador
“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. ” 2 Corinthians 5:20 NIV
As an ambassador of Christ we are his representative. God wil often use us to heal a sick and broken world.
If there is one thing that has hurt my heart the most, it has been the fall of many of those that call themselves ambassadors of Christ. I believe that to be based on one thing. They were not truly rooted in Christ. That is not to say that they were never Christians or that ambassadors are called to perfection, but we are definitely called to be rooted and grounded in Jesus. As we neglect our calling to be established in Him we slowly lose our effectiveness for the kingdom and some become the sad stories that the enemy uses to turn others from faith in Christ.
We are what the unknowing world often sees of Jesus. Let us stay connected to the power in Christ and be righteous ambassadors in Christ.
