I am…a Living Stone
“As you come to him, the living Stone–rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him–you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 2:4-5 NIV
Christ is our cornerstone, our foundation. He is our ROCK! Not just any rock, but a LIVING STONE! He is alive! He has risen and now, on His truth, He builds His church.
Well, we are that church! We, too, are living stones! We are alive in Him. We are built on Him!
Stones are solid; stones are strong. We are not found strong outside of Christ, but only because of Jesus.
As living stones, it our responsibility to remain in Him, the firm foundation and source of our strength, and to remain connected to Him, our life and vitality!
YOU ARE A LIVING STONE!
Be alive and strong in Christ!!!
