I am…a Seed
“He answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one,” Matthew 13:37-38 NIV
We are simple, small tools in the hands of the master. We can respond to this thought in a couple of ways:
1. We can see ourselves as small pointless pieces that would not be missed and cannot have vast impact. After all how little is a seed!?
2. We can recognize, rightfully so, that we are chosen tools of God and that we have a destiny, as do seeds, for great impact. After all How awesome is a tree!?
As we are sewn into the world by Christ we can impact it. However, the importance of staying relationally connected to the sewer is critical.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5 NIV
Today, let us remember our significance in the hands of the only all important one.
Let us resolve to stay connected to the great harvester as he plants us. After all, in Christ, I AM A SEED.

Loved this short, well written post. It really inspires and encourages me to keep pushing forward with continuing to work for the kingdom, despite how much the enemy, gives me a hard time trying to make me believe that I’m already a failure. Thank you for this uplifting post. God bless
