I am…Found

I am…Found

I am...Found

“For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.” Luke 15:24 NIV

For those of us alive in Christ, we are like the prodigal son in the passage in Luke 15. We were once far off from God. We had gone astray, some of us longer away than others, but all of us at one point walked in darkness.

We know the feeling of being lost, the feeling of having no direction, feeling like wandering souls without a home.

But God…in His infinite mercy, plucked us out of darkness and placed us in His marvelous light.

“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” 1 Peter 2:9 NIV

As one who has been rescued from yourself, rescued from a life of sin, rescued from a life of wandering the wasteland, you have been found.

You have a home in Christ, You have a loving father in Christ, You have significance and direction in Jesus.

In short, you WERE lost, but today you should loudly claim…
