I am…Bold!

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:16 KJV

“Therefore, although in Christ I could be bold and order you to do what you ought to do” Philemon 1:8 NIV

Something about Friday mornings that have me waking up with such a spring in my step and a simple boldness toward the day. However, nothing about Friday makes me as bold as the knowledge of Christ within me and that my hope lies within Him.

Being IN CHRIST emboldens me beyond belief in occasions where I’d much rather tuck tail and run. Speaking His word to those who yet know Him can be something so often terrifying but when I recognize whose strength resides within, my boldness grows.

In addition, because of Jesus, I can now boldly go to God and seek Him. Where I once could only cower in fear and hope for mercy, I can now boldly approach my Abba and seek grace.

Thank you Jesus!!!
